Barb LeGay was a passionate advocate for people living with kidney disease and an enthusiastic member of the Can-SOLVE CKD Patient Council. To honour her remarkable legacy, we are proud to introduce the Barbara Ann LeGay Award for Patient-Oriented Research.
This award will celebrate the contributions of patient partners to the Can-SOLVE CKD Network, recognizing those who have worked to improve relationships between health care providers, researchers, and patients. Nominations for the inaugural award are now open and can be submitted by anyone affiliated with the Can-SOLVE CKD Network. View the full nomination details and selection criteria. The first recipient of the Barbara Ann LeGay Award will be announced May 6 at the Can-SOLVE CKD annual meeting in Vancouver.
